With plenty of craft skills and multi-tasking: Trainee at Fair 2015
We – Hannah and Daniel – have since July 2012 been sandwich course students (mechanical engineering and mechatronics) at Krones AG. As the technological leader in the field of beverage bottling/canning lines, Krones offers very good career prospects. But we also opted for a sandwich course because of the multifaceted training it offers. What we like most about this is the interlinkage of theory and practice, since the knowledge we acquire at college can be put directly into practice on the shop floor. This opens up a host of remits for which not only craft skills, but also multi-tasking are vital preconditions.
Multi-tasking and versatility are also important for coordinating the erection of machines at the BrauBeviale in Nuremberg. In a stringent time schedule, interesting exhibits from Krones are installed and showcased there. This year we have a chance to help with that under the aegis of the “Trainee at Fair” project as the “Team Technik”.
And even before the fair, we’ll be having a chance to get acquainted with what it means to work with the exhibits.
This challenge, and our interest in the latest technologies, are the main motivations for our taking part in this project for the fair.
What’s more, the BrauBeviale also offers abundant opportunities for making new contacts and familiarising yourself with different technologies.
For these reasons, we’re already looking forward very much to the preparations and then the fair itself.
