Viva Mexico!

“Viva Mexico!” is our watchword from 5 to 8 June 2018. The reason for this is the EXPO PACK in Mexico City. The EXPO PACK is Latin America’s largest and most important trade fair for the packaging industry, and is held in conjunction with the PROCESA, the trade fair for food processing technologies.

The Mexican food processing and beverage industries still rank among the growth sectors. Health-awareness among consumers in Latin America is rising, as are the expectations for consumer-friendliness. What’s more, when it comes to using plastics, more attention is being paid to selecting renewable and not mineral raw materials, which in addition are required to be biodegradable.

These key factors dominate the current packaging technologies and solutions that will also be on show at the fair. The international exhibitors will be showcasing innovative machines, materials and containers, plus field-proven solutions for processing, packaging, and selling the products concerned .

We will of course be one of the exhibitors, and as with our other recent trade fair appearances the major focus will be on Krones’ digital solutions, like our House of Krones app. This year, too, our 90 square-metre stand will once again be Number 3100!
