The trade fair year begins

As the world’s biggest country, Russia also plays a front-runner role when it comes to trade fairs for process and packaging technology. At the end of January, a total of 24.900 trade visitors and 250 exhibitors from around 22 different countries travelled to the Russian capital with a shared goal: upakovka! No, it’s not a Russian toast. From 23 to 26 January 2018, it involved joint networking at a trade fair in Moscow. On the upakovka’s total area of 3,500 square metres, exhibitors spotlighted a huge array of different trends in the fields of process and packaging technology.

And, of course, as every year, we were one of the exhibitors again – with a stand in the German Pavilion. In conjunction with the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and the trade fair organiser Messe Düsseldorf, this section of the exhibition centre offers an optimal venue for approximately 30 exhibitors from Germany. The German vendors of food, beverage and packaging machinery still remain among the most important suppliers for Russian firms. There are good reasons why for over 20 years now we’ve been showcasing our product portfolio at the upakovka.

So this year, too, we kicked off the trade fair season on 60 square metres of the upakovka! As ever, we brought with us digital solutions designed to render our clients’ production operations more effective. And we once again had Evoguard on board – our specialists when it comes to valves and pumps. Together, we informed the numerous visitors about our latest innovations.

And nonstop action remains the watchword! The upakovka was only the beginning of a jam-packed trade fair season! Because we have some more out-of-the-ordinary venues up our sleeves! From Moscow, we’re now off to Kenya for the PROPAK EAST AFRICA and then the DJAZAGRO in Algeria, until we kick off the second half of the trade fair year in September with the PROPAK WEST AFRICA in Nigeria.

Have we whetted your curiosity? Then you can look forward to our upcoming trade fairs. We still have plenty to offer this year – so there will be abundant opportunities for discussions and mutual feedback. And you know what comes next – Na sdorowje!
