The tension is mounting – stand assembly begins
On Monday, the big day finally dawned: erection work on the stand in Hall B6 at the exhibition centre in Munich commenced. That’s the green light for Krones goes drinktec 2017, and the countdown to the opening day is running. Only five short weeks to go before on 11 September we open our doors for visitors from all over the world, and what’s the most exciting time of the year for us will kick off.
The hall is without a doubt impressively huge – and empty. For the time being, at least. But in a few days’ time it’s going to be unrecognisable, and even more so once all the visitors start thronging the stand. But it’s not only the area of approximately 11,000 m2 that’s impressive, it’s also the fact that 4 km of fibre-optic cables and 4.5 km of network cabling have already been laid. But without our willing band of hard-working helpers, of course, the whole thing could never be accomplished – in the upcoming days and weeks about a hundred people will be involved in the erection work.
