The milk experts at Krones
In 2016 Krones, the complete-system vendor for the food and beverage industries, set up Milkron GmbH, a new subsidiary tasked in future with acting as the group’s specialist when it comes to building new, or modifying existing individual systems and components, entire lines or even complete dairy plants. Because as a sensitive raw material milk requires specialised knowledge and experience for turning it into high-quality products.
It’s precisely this expertise that’s incorporated in Milkron. Because there are genuine sectoral insiders working there, some of whom have already spent more than twenty years in the dairy industry. An advantage that of course pays off: milk-processing companies can thus be certain of having authentic specialists at their side, who contribute to every project their comprehensive competence and long years of experience.
And because Milkron is still a young company, it retains a vibrant start-up atmosphere. Which benefits its clients as well: in daily operations, decision-making paths are short and all working procedures are always imbued with the requisite portion of flexibility, enabling Milkron to respond swiftly to each and every requirement.
Speaking of “each and every requirement” – here Milkron takes the “each and every” quite literally: from factory planning, then components and complete lines, all the way through to logistics, the company offers everything from a single source. This is made possible firstly by the experienced staff, and secondly the synergies created by the close ties with the Krones Group.
While the company’s headquarter is in Laatzen near Hanover, they have opened a second office in Hamburg last February. At the Anuga FoodTec 2018 visitors of the Krones booth (hall 8.1, booth A020/B039) have a chance to meet employees of Milkron and to find out how they can support with future projects.
