Round the world in a team: Trainee at Fair 2015
Hi!
Our names are Michael and Benjamin, and we’d like to introduce ourselves. We’re 18 years old, and since 1 September 2014 we’ve been trainees at Krones AG. Together, we’re training to qualify as electronics technicians for industrial engineering with Profile 21, a course which we are scheduled to complete in February 2018.
For the two of us, one of the reasons for choosing this career path was that later on, as a fitter, you’re posted all over the world for installing, commissioning and also maintaining Krones’ machines. Out in the field, you encounter different cultures, different people in lots of other countries. The variety this creates was one of the main attractions for us, and you definitely have to like travelling to feel comfortable with many different customs and long journeys – but it never gets boring either.
From the BrauBeviale and the “Trainee at Fair” project, we hope we can gain some initial experience in on-site commissioning. We also believe that this will enhance team spirit among all our colleagues attending the fair. As the “Team LCS”, we shall be devoting particular attention to the field of lifecycle service, and finding out how the LCS people are involved in a trade fair, and getting some hands-on experience with our machines and service capabilities. Quite generally, we’re looking forward immensely to the fair in Nuremberg, and hope that everyone has a great time.
