Next stop: Chicago

No one on the bus, plenty of free chairs in the canteen, and every other mail in the inbox is an out-of-office message. The summer slump was clearly apparent at Krones too. However, it’s been quiet not only in the offices, but in the trade fair schedule as well. That’s all over now. The season is upon us – and it kicks off with the Pack Expo in Chicago, Illinois, from 14 to 17 October

The Pack Expo is a trade fair for filling and packaging technology, and is held each year alternately in Chicago and Las Vegas. Manufacturers from all over the world will be showcasing the latest developments and trends in the field of filling and packaging. From various machines for the beverage industry, plus various packaging materials, all the way through to cartons and cargo containers. The fair thus attracts more than 50,000 trade visitors – not the sort of opportunity we’re going to pass up!

And we’ve got plenty to offer, since after all 390 square metres of stand area takes quite a lot of exhibits to fill. As with the previous fairs, our digital solutions are the principal focus. Our colleagues from Syskron, for instance, will be showcasing their ReadyKit and their App Share2Act, and System Logistics will be spotlighting an AGV (an Automated Guided Vehicle). In addition, we shall be presenting an Ergomodul with an Autocol station and a Multireel with a Contiroll station.
