Krones Inc. Training & Technology Center Ribbon Cutting – February 2019

We’ve had some busy weeks here at the Krones Inc. headquarters in Franklin, Wisconsin. After 2½ years of effort and hard work by many across the organization, we cut the ribbon on our new Training and Technology Center at the end of February. With its location directly across the street from our headquarters, the new building will be a great addition to our site.

The facility is considered a strategic long-term investment in the region to provide more local access to training – for both North American customers, as well as Krones Service Technicians in the field. With the rapid evolution of technology in our market comes the need for greater skills levels – especially in light of the US skills gap that is being experienced. Having the ability to provide training for higher skill levels translates to greater customer success with their Krones machines, leading to greater satisfaction with Krones overall.

“The investment is complete, now the return must be delivered,” said Krones Inc. CEO, Holger Beckmann during his welcome speech to employees during the ribbon cutting. “As an innovation leader in our industry, we consider the new Krones Training and Technology Center a critical element in our value proposition to customers and employees in North America.”  The new Training and Technology Center measures 40,000 square feet, and contains Krones Academy, Service Tech training, a plastics engineering lab, and a machinery showroom, that includes equipment of various product lines such as blow molding, labeling, inspection and packaging.
