Cherished traditions, new solutions and an abundance of fruitful conversations

It’s hardly a major surprise that we shall be at the BrauBeviale in Nuremberg again from 12 to 14 November 2019 – after all, “the Brau” has long since established itself as something like the fifth season of the year for the brewing sector.

The stand number, too, is not going to be a surprise for regular visitors to the Brau – Krones can once again together with its subsidiaries be found in Hall 7A of the exhibition center in Nuremberg. And of course we shall primarily be showcasing solutions that are of interest to brewers. But not exclusively: we shall be bringing along technologies that will prove exciting for producers of other beverages as well. And this brings us to the question of pre-eminent interest:

What does Krones have to offer at the Brau this year? What is different from preceding years?

  • Perhaps the most prominent innovation is the compact glass filler Craftmate G, which we shall be exhibiting at the fair. It’s more or less the big brother of the already-established Craftmate C can filler – and thus the perfect beer and CSD filler for the small output range up to 24,000 containers per hour.
  • What’s more, visitors will be able to familiarise themselves with the VarioFlash B flash pasteuriser. This version of the system is ideally suited for beer and beer-based mixed drinks – but Krones has solutions in its portfolio for dependable thermal product treatment of juices and milk-based beverages as well.
  • For a widely cross-sectoral clientele, the Flexa Sensicol from our subsidiary Kosme decorates containers in pressure-sensitive labels. This machine can handle both paper and plastic labels.
  • And then there’s the subject of service support – because, of course, our relationship with our clients is far from over once the machine has been purchased. On the stand at the fair, we shall be providing information on all solutions offered by our Lifecycle Service, with a very particular emphasis on the added value of digital applications. In regular live demonstrations on the stand at the fair, we shall be taking you on a trip into our Service Center of the future.

A good choice of reasons, I hope, to visit us at the fair. Wouldn’t you agree? But I’ve still got an ace up my sleeve: at our bar, you will have an opportunity to sample the green-hop beer brewed in the Steinecker Brew Center – featuring fresh hops from the Holledau, and specially created for the fair by our colleagues at the pilot plant in Freising. There you’re bound to start chatting to some of the many familiar faces you meet at the BrauBeviale – and that is and remains one of the most compelling reasons why a visit to the fair is always well worth while.
