Bangkok calling: the ProPak Asia 2017
Thailand – crystal-clear blue water, the soothing sound of the surf, a whole lot of coconuts on the beach, and at the centre of it all the pulsating metropolis of Bangkok. But Bangkok has more to offer than (just) street food and holidays: Thailand’s capital will this year once again be hosting the ProPak Asia. This event ranks among the premier trade fairs inside the food, beverage and pharmaceutical production sectors, and in the packaging industry, and is regarded as the biggest and most internationalised fair in all of Asia. With more than 2,000 exhibitors from 45 different countries and an exhibition area of 55,000 m2, this is hardly surprising.
The ProPak Asia is now being held for what’s already the 25th time – and Krones will of course be there! From 14 to 17 June, we can be found on Stand BR01 in Hall 103, and will be delighted if plenty of interested visitors find their way to us. After all, Thailand is always worth a visit …
So what is there to look forward to? Krones will be spotlighting its online shop. Here, for example, clients can order their spares or book staff training courses on the machines a whole lot more simply. In addition, our specialists will be giving presentations on topics like the Material Management Coach – a service provided by the LCS – and the Digital Krones Academy. Visitors to our stand at the fair will also have an opportunity to familiarise themselves with IT solutions like the Share2Act social network – an application that Krones has developed in conjunction with our colleagues at Syskron.
Four valves and a pump from Krones’ Evoguard subsidiary will be on show live at the stand. In addition, the training terminal of the Digital Krones Academy can be trialled and tested live. Here, all information on the machines is stored at a central location for retrieval using a variety of different devices, enabling users to view operating instructions, training documents or short video sequences. As you’ve probably noticed by now – at the ProPak there’ll be quite a bit to see from the field of digitalisation!
We’re looking forward to next Wednesday, when the motto is “Curtain up for Krones at the ProPak Asia!” and are keen to find out what the following four days have in store. We will be pleased to welcome you on our stand at the fair – so perhaps we’ll be seeing you quite soon!
