About sake and beer

Eight hours long is the actual time difference between Germany and Japan. But there are several more differences between the “Land of the Rising Sun”, how Japan is often called, and Germany: In Japan, no side dish is more popular than rice while in Germany one usually eats potatoes. The typical Japanese and German beverages vary as well: The Japanse like sake, whereas for the Germans there is nothing better than their beer.
