From Nuremberg to Shanghai
Krones tours the entire planet, for maximised close-proximity interfacing with its customers, irrespective of where they’re located. This is not least why we attend numerous international trade fairs. The thematic bandwidth involved is huge, ranging from plastics and recycling all the way through to our favourite topic on this blog: brewing. Since I myself was lucky enough to be involved in one of our brewing trade fairs, and enjoyed my time there enormously, I’ve been perusing the list of beer-themed events in 2020.
From 16 to 20 March, the first brewing trade fair takes us to Perth, Australia. Well, have you guessed what I’m talking about? We shall, of course, be showcasing our corporate capabilities for you at the Asia Pacific IBD Convention! In my opinion, it’s the perfect city for a brewing trade: craft breweries, restaurants and a pulsating, vibrant ambience – what more could anyone want? And naturally enough we will be fully involved, bringing along our solutions from the fields of process technology and digitalisation. Don’t worry, there’s something here for brewers of (almost) every order of magnitude – we have a choice of solutions for both large and small quantities of beer.
To keep us from being bored (and because the next highlight is imminent), the journey then takes us to San Antonio, Texas, from 19 to 22 April. Here, we shall be represented at the Craft Brewers Conference– and we won’t be coming alone! Our subsidiary Sprinkman will also be accompanying us to the fair, where we shall be showcasing our solutions designed specifically for craft brewers. And here we have some rather special highlights for you up our sleeves: a brewhouse from Sprinkman and also plenty of attractive solutions for brewers who have opted for cans as their favoured package. And that’s a long way from being all the treats in store. In parallel to the fair, finally, there’s also the conference itself with plenty of interesting presentations by experts from the sector. So make sure you don’t miss it: the CBC is a definite must for everyone involved in beer-related activities (irrespective of whether they’re brewers or simply beer fans 😉)
Because it will have been so rewarding in March, we shall then be returning to Australia from 21 to 22 September. This time we can be found at the BrewCon in Melbourne. Here, too, there’s everything a craft brewer’s heart could desire: a unique beer culture, the adventurously-drinking Australians, and a multiplicity of interesting beers. And we supply the appropriate brewing equipment for you! So make a note in your diary and take the opportunity to inspect our broad portfolio of solutions for every brewer.
If you haven’t managed to drop in on us here, fortunately you won’t have long to wait until the next fair: from 13 to 16 October you will be able to meet up with us in Shanghai. We certainly weren’t going to miss the ChinaBrew China Beverages (CBB)! With another approximately 900 exhibitors from all over the world, we shall also be showcasing the latest technologies of brewing culture for you on our 300-m2 stand. And this time, too, we shan’t be coming alone – we’ll be accompanied by some of our subsidiaries. You can also look forward to meeting KIC Krones, MHT, Syskron and Co.
Next destination: Taipei. From 29 to 30 October, we shall be detouring to Taiwan and arriving with our experts at the SEA Brew. Here, too, of course, we shall once again be bringing along for you innovative brewing technology and a whole lot of know-how, plus individualised consultancy for our entire portfolio of brewery equipment. We’re looking forward to seeing you!
Last, but certainly not least – the loyal brewers and beer-drinkers know precisely at which event we can be found from 10 to 12 November: at the BrauBeviale, of course! So we’re definitely going to be exhibiting there in 2020 as well. As usual, we shall be showcasing a broad array of holistic solutions for both the small and large output ranges, and will of course be delighted to answer any questions you may have. Please make a note in your diary!
If that doesn’t get your (craft) brewer’s heart beating faster, then I don’t know what will. I for my part will definitely be coming to the BrauBeviale in Nuremberg, and experience it this time from the other side, as a visitor. No matter where you’re located, I can only recommend you to visit one of our fairs, and see everything for yourself. And if unfortunately you can’t manage to attend any of these events in person, we shall of course also be posting comments about the fairs on our social media channels. Perhaps that may be some small consolation for you. 😉
